Each client’s therapeutic journey is unique, and it can be challenging to provide a definitive explanation of the process that you and your counsellor will go through.
However, the information on this page should provide insight into how I can support you during this deeply personal experience.

A Person Centred Approach…
I primarily use a person-centered approach in my sessions, but I also incorporate other modalities to tailor the experience to each individual.
The person-centered approach to counselling originated with Carl Rogers in the 1940s. Its foundation starts in the belief that each person has unique needs, and a one-size-fits-all approach is ineffective.
My goal is to provide non judgemental and unwavering support, helping you reaffirm the things you already know but may doubt within yourself, or guiding you to make small changes that will empower you with the ability to navigate what you are going through and transform your thought process.
I specialise in working with past trauma that continues to impact your daily life. There is absolutely no judgment here, and through my own life experiences, you will recognise my ability to connect with and empathise with various situations, fostering a mutual understanding.
The Process of Therapy
The process of therapy is unique for each individual. Just as every person is different, each therapy session is also distinct and cannot be directly compared with another. I am committed to working ethically and effectively with you, ensuring that our sessions are tailored to meet your specific needs. It’s important for us to regularly check in with each other to ensure that you are comfortable and satisfied with the progress we are making. Rather than imposing a strict timeframe on your recovery, we will focus on helping you navigate through your experiences and find the best path for moving forward. Your well-being is my priority, and I am dedicated to supporting you every step of the way.


Client Well-Being
I offer a regular contact arrangement that is suited to your individual needs. So you know someone is there for you to help you keep on top of things. Regular clients get this included in their session fee. Clients either in therapy or coming to the end of therapy can arrange a price for this. It is a great idea as you finish counselling and need a little support moving forward. Or for people who do not have time for full sessions, but need a little support and encouragement in some areas, for example anxiety, or self worth.
